Hi, welcome to my website!! I’m an engineer, researcher, and lifelong LEGO enthusiast. Ever since I was a kid, I’ve been fascinated by how things work—whether it’s solving puzzles, coding, or building complex structures from LEGO bricks. This curiosity eventually led me to earn a PhD in engineering, where I dove into the world of self-driving cars and intelligent transportation systems.
With over a decade of experience building simulation platforms for Connected and Autonomous Vehicles (CAV) and Mobility as a Service (MaaS), I’ve fine-tuned my coding skills while still finding time to fuel my LEGO obsession. My current project involves creating a self-driving LEGO car powered by my own traffic simulation software, and I’ve even designed a replica of my childhood vacation house (with some wishful modifications, of course).

After years in academia and industry, I took a sabbatical to dive deeper into machine learning and focus on side projects. During this time, I hit a roadblock while watching a foreign TV show that had no good subtitle options. The available services were either costly or complicated, and I knew there had to be a better way. So, I built it.
That’s how Subtitle Sphere was born—a simple, yet powerful tool for creating, translating, and editing subtitles. What started as a personal challenge has evolved into a user-friendly platform designed to make video content accessible to everyone—not just professional content creators or video editors. I wanted to create something affordable, easy to use, offering unlimited transcription and translation, privacy-focused, and standalone, so it can even be used offline on a personal computer without the need for costly services.
As a researcher and engineer, when I looked for a solution online, I noticed that most of the available services were geared towards content creators. There was a clear lack of tools applicable to professionals without a video editing background—people who needed user-friendly, no-hassle, offline desktop software that was privacy-focused, unlimited, and free. Having created numerous presentations and presented at international conferences, as well as written instructions for software, I know the value of seamless audio creation for professionals outside the content creation industry. Privacy is especially crucial when dealing with sensitive materials, and it’s equally important to have the ability to reach larger international audiences.
Subtitle Sphere addresses these gaps, offering a straightforward, privacy-centered solution that anyone can use, regardless of technical expertise, and without the burdens of expensive, complex services.
This experience, combined with my passion for LEGO and programming, inspired me to create Tandis 24 Design Lab: Bricks, Bytes, and Brushstrokes. At Tandis 24 Design Lab, we blend technical precision with artistic passion to develop innovative tools. Inspired by a love for coding, LEGO, and design, the lab aims to bring ideas to life through technology, merging my engineering background with a commitment to creativity and real-world solutions.
At the heart of everything I do—whether it's building LEGO replicas, developing intelligent transport solutions, or creating software—is my love for creativity and bringing ideas to life. With Subtitle Sphere, and through Tandis 24 Design Lab, I’m excited to share this passion with the world and help others unlock their own creative potential.
